My mum´s side of the family


Here with my mum´s side of the family. I spent another weekend with them in Pereira, going on a tour around small towns and visiting the natural thermal baths. Time is never enough to be with the family....

My time in Colombia


I had the opportunity to be in Colombia for a couple of weeks working and visiting my family. I spent a great weekend with my dad´s side of the family on a farm, we were around 15 people and they all welcomed me with my favourite Colombian food!!!

The Heroes Square in Budapest


This is one of the key points of the city where the Millennium Monument stands. This landmark shows the leaders of the seven tribes that founded Hungary.

Here the view from the top of Buda to the whole city. It is personally one of the most beautiful and romantic cities in Europe; also suggest for a trip, as there is a lot of history, nice architecture, good food and great prices!

Nice, Cannes and Monaco

I spent the weekend in Nice with Monica my colleague from Barcelona. We had a wonderful time walking all around Nice, Cannes, Monaco and the small towns by the coast. It has been one of the best trips I´ve done around Europe.....suggested to anyone who wants a bit of sun!! and an inspiring one to start organising a tour around the little towns of the Italian coast! The Magic Fountain

On my business trip to Barcelona I visited again my favourite place in the city.....The Magic Fountain. It´s a mixture of music, colors and water shapes which I love watching and watching over and over and over....here a little video!

Open day at CERN


Cern, the European Organisation for Nuclear Research, located in Geneva had an open day to show the public their biggest experiment: the large particle accelerator which will be launched in July and will between others, allow physicists simulate the Big Bang to explore and understand the beginning of the universe. I had the opportunity to go along with Maria Lucia and Pal her husband who is one of the physicists working for Cern!

Prague´s old town famous square


Here at the old city square where the famous clock has a little show every hour and there are small stalls all around selling Murano glass, Prague´s traditional food and handicrafts.

Easter trip to The Loire Valley


The Loire Valley is a great place in France surrounded by castles and wine caves. I went along with 13 more friends and we did Castles and cave tours for 4 days! here at the Chambord Castle.

Saas Fee - skiing weekend


While some of my friends were skiing, others went walking up to the top of one of the mountains. It was such a nice experience 4.5 hours walking on the snow!!! Here is the view from the top!!

Zermatt and Matterhorn


It was such a great weekend with 18 of my friends from Lausanne. We decided to go to the mountains for the weekend to do some skiing and snow sports. So I went first to Zermatt to see the Matterhorn which is the most famous swiss mountain and the one we find in the Toblerone chocolate ;)

The second week of February I visited Hilda my colleague and friend, Felipe her husband and Robin my ex-colleague in Australia. They took me around the beautiful towns of Bruges, Gent, Brussels and others. Here in front of the the Manneken pis - a famous icon of Belgium - while eating the best waffle I have ever had!

THE SAHARA DESERT


Here I am....making dreams come true!!!!! yeah!!!! it´s me riding a camel :) I had the chance to stay at the Sahara desert with the berber nomads of Morocco!

MOROCCO!!!


Since I came to Europe I really wanted to go to Morocco and I finally made it on the first week of December, almost as a Christmas present!!! here in Marrakech at the Djemaa el Fna square which is the most popular place in the city.

A business trip to Madrid!


I was in Madrid for the first time even though I spend half of my time on the phone working with a couple of people in Madrid :P I finally had a business trip for two days and had some time to go around. La Plaza Mayor is the main square and a touristic point of the city.

Istanbul


Some days ago I had the opportunity to visit Istanbul!! it has been one of the best holidays I have ever had. I truly suggest this city to anyone who is looking for a different type of holiday. Here in front of Hagia Sofia! this church - museum has over 1400 years and it mixes both Byzantine and Ottoman architecture.

Lausanne


Here at the Leman lake. Aline our swiss friend celebrated her birthday on a boat cruise around the lake. We were around 30 people singing, eating, drinking and enjoying the amazing sunset.

On the 6th and 7th of July, The Global compact leaders summit took place at the United Nations palace in Geneve. I had the opportunity to be there and to know world business and social leaders.

Acropolis


I was amazed with the temple of Hephaestus which still stands in really good conditions despite the centuries (449-440 BC)

This was actually one of the statues I liked the most at the archaeological museum. It is named Aphrodite and Pan from Delos.

In the 18th century, the islands used to fear attacks from the Ottoman fleet so they used their wealth to fortify the harbour with bastions of cannons.

It was time to start discovering more of Europe as my schengen visa was finally issued!!! So I started with a weekend trip to Milan. Here at the Duomo.

Easter trip


For Easter I decided to explore a bit more of Switzerland and Liechtenstein, so I went on a tour Zurich, Vaduz (Lienchtenstein's capital) and Luzern. In the photo is the Dying lion of Luzern which is one of the world's most famous monuments.
